The most notable of Greenspoint's March of Dimes honors is the
Trail Blazer Award, a prestigious award given to the one Texas
walk site that has led the way in increasing revenue and site performance.
Greenspoint is now the new pacesetter for the state.
This year, Greenspoint raised a
record-breaking $205,000, more than any other Houston community walk site and
also earned additional honors—
• Sponsorship Goal Breaker
Award, awarded to Texas walk sites that break their sponsorship
goal.
• Total Revenue Goal Breaker
Award, for Texas walk sites that break their overall revenue
goal.
• Star of Texas
Award for 226 percent year-over-year sponsorship growth.
• Star of Texas
Award for 34 percent year-over-year total revenue growth.
“I am truly excited because these
awards could not have gone to a more deserving community,” said Shataria
Franklin, Greenspoint walk site coordinator for the March of Dimes. “You truly
deserve the accolades and there is no way we could have done it without you.
Thanks for all you do to make Greenspoint WalkAmerica a huge success and
most of all for helping the March of Dimes get closer to the day when all babies
are born healthy.”
